WEAVING

From spinning to weaving, the progression has always been a natural transition for Masood Roomi. The expansion by establishing Masood Fabrics in 1998 and Roomi Fabrics in 2002 paved the way for the most sustainably operated weaving units in the region to serve clients in the apparel, home textile, and technical textile sectors.

Masood Roomi believes in product innovation and has effectively leveraged its expertise in yarn production to introduce a wide range of fabrics with a capacity of 7.5 million yards per month with 80% export-oriented production. We were the first in Pakistan to develop stretch fabrics and high-density fabrics with GSM ranges of 60 ~ 475 grams and thread counts of up to 800.

The majority of our weaving is done with the in-house produced yarn and also utilizes our specialized supply chain department to procure world-class yarn to produce special category yarns to meet the diverse needs of our clients and the market at our facility. Our installed 540 Air jet looms from Toyoda and Rapier machines from Picanol for high-density fabrics / specialized products will be deployed soon.

We have an independent Quality Assurance team that conducts inline audits and monitors the performance of each department. To assure quality in the final product, process control methods are used in every step of the production.
