Masood Roomi has its roots in the City of Saints – Multan; previously operating under the umbrella of Mahmood Group, a multifaceted business conglomerate founded by honorable Khawaja Muhammad Masood in 1946.

Textile is the largest and a multifaceted division of Masood Roomi, providing an array of products and services for spinning, weaving, bed & bath and apparel industries. The company has created several benchmarks and established milestones for the forthcoming generations. The Textile Business of Masood Roomi has grown as one of the most modern and innovative vertically integrated textile setups in Pakistan.
Masood Roomi is undoubtedly a major player in export markets. The company has the annual capacity to produce 83M lbs of Yarn, 200M sq. meters of Fabric, 1.4M kgs of Towels, 7M meters of Stitched Fabric for Home Textiles and approximately 6M pieces of Knitwear and Woven Wear Apparel. We strongly believe in empowering women throughout our organization. Our work force comprises gender-diverse professionals, skilled in Spinning, Weaving, Home Textile and Terry Towel Businesses. Power Generation
Since its inception, Masood Roomi has been an advocate of sustainability through various transformational projects. It strongly believes in ‘Sustainable Growth’ in order to build a better tomorrow for our future generations. Our Power Division is committed to lead the country’s transition away from fossil fuels in order to reduce Pakistan’s Carbon Footprint. We believe in meeting the rising demand for energy through renewable sources to produce clean energy for all.
To deliver scalable, sustainable and integrated energy solutions we have honed our technical expertise, delivery focus and attention to detail to create significant capability in this sector. We have managed to derive almost one-third of our 30MW power requirements from renewable sources. We have installed an approximate 10MW Solar Power Plant using the latest Half-Cell Technology at Masood Roomi, with plans to expand the capacity even further.
Masood Roomi is the largest single user of Caterpillar Gas Engines in captive power division with the highest capacity gas engines in the country. In order to avoid wastage and further maximize efficiency, we employ Cogeneration Technology whereby we re-use the heat produced through our Power Plants to make steam that is used in our textile manufacturing processes. Our pioneering spirit and technical expertise have paved the way for addressing diverse energy needs through innovative and cost-effective models for a better future.
